Locations

Study group rooms are available in the following buildings

Students enrolled in a class at one of these locations may reserve a study group room during the same quarter and at the same location where their class is held. Reservations can be made through Student Webmail or the Outlook app (iOS/Android).

How to Reserve a Room

Using Webmail (From PC/Mac or mobile device)

  1. Log into Webmail with your Kellogg email.

  2. On the left-hand menu, click Calendar icon.

  3. Click New event to create a meeting invitation.

  4. Click the "Invite attendees" field and type in the names of invitees, and complete applicable fields as you would for a standard meeting invite. At least two people must be included in an invitation. Refer to the Reservation Policy for Students below for more information.

  5. Click into the field labeled "Search for a room or location" and then click Browse with Room Finder

  6. In the Room Finder pop-up, click the "Building" field. Kellogg buildings have slightly different naming conventions depending on where you are reserving a room. Refer to the table below to find the correct "Building" naming when reserving in webmail.

  7. Begin typing the name of the building you would like to reserve a room in and you should see rooms that are available. When you find a room that works for your availability, click it and the room will be added to the location field for your invite.

  8. Click Send to request the room reservation and invite participants.

  9. Look for a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation, you do not have the room reserved. If your request is declined, refer to the Reservation Policy for Student below.


Using Outlook Mobile (iOS, Android)

  1. Within the Outlook Mobile app, navigate to your Outlook Calendar
  2. Click the blue plus sign to create a New Meeting
  3. Set up your meeting invitation, add meeting attendees, and complete applicable fields as you would for a standard meeting invite. At least two people must be included in an invitation. Refer to the Reservation Policy for Students below for more information.
  4. Select location - Kellogg buildings have slightly different naming conventions depending on the building you are reserving a room in. Refer to the table above to find the correct naming in Outlook.
  5. Save and your meeting is complete
  6. Look for a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation you do not have the room reserved. If your request is declined, refer to the Reservation Policy for Student below.

Check-In Policy and Reservation Cancellation

After confirming your reservation, please arrive at the Study Group Room on time and check in using the display panel located outside the door. Be sure to check in within 10 minutes of your reservation start time. If you don’t, your reservation will be automatically canceled, and the room will be made available to others.

How to connect your laptop to the LCD monitor

Windows:

  1. Select the applicable monitor adapter and plug it in to your computer or mobile device
  2. Click the Windows key + P
  3. Select Duplicate

Mac:

  1. Select the applicable monitor adapter and plug it in to your computer or mobile device
  2. Click the Apple menu > System Preferences > Displays
  3. Click Detect Displays

How to connect your laptop to the room's camera

Connect the cable (USB-A/USB-C) labeled "Camera" to your laptop. Web conferencing software should automatically detect the connected camera. If not, select the applicable camera device below:

How to use the conference phone

Dialing out:

Conference phones are capable of calling nationwide (continental USA) free of charge. All international calls must be made using a calling card.

On-campus numbers: Dial only last 5 digits (7-2100 or 3-0159) Off-campus numbers: Dial 9 + 1 + area code + number
