Short-term equipment loans are available to Kellogg students to ensure that they have a working computer during tests, simulations, or when their personal laptop is undergoing hardware repairs. Kellogg students may checkout computer loaner equipment in person by visiting a KIS Support Center. Computer loaner equipment is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Short-term equipment loans are available to the following Kellogg students:
Kellogg students assume responsibility for equipment borrowed from Kellogg Information Systems (KIS). Please see the FAQ section for equipment replacement costs. All data is deleted from loaner equipment when returned to KIS. Please be sure to back up your data prior to returning any loaner equipment.
All Kellogg students must read and accept the terms within the Technical Support and Loaner Agreement (TSA) prior to checking out loaner equipment. PLEASE NOTE: You must log into this page with your NetID and NetID password to see the signed/unsigned status of your account. The TSA covers the student's responsibility for Kellogg-owned loaner equipment, including equipment replacement costs.

Q: How many items can I check out at one time?
A: You may check out one item from any category at the same time (e.g., one laptop, and one AC adaptor).
Q: Who do I talk to about lost or stolen loaner equipment?
A: Report stolen loaner equipment to the local police department, and provide KIS with a police report number, and a check written to Northwestern University for cost of the stolen loaner equipment.
