Degree Enhancement Program (DEP) student access

Article Overview

Access: Registration, NetID, & Email

Registration

Graduates of the Evening-Weekend MBA program may be eligible to enroll in the Degree Enhancement Program (DEP). Additional information on program registration can be found on the Evening-Weekend website.

NetID

If you are a recent graduate enrolling in DEP and your NetID is still active, you may be able to continue using it without interruption. However, if your NetID has expired and has been deactivated (usually about 5 months after graduation), your NetID will have to be reactivated. Any Microsoft collaboration access - including Sharepoint, OneNote, or shared OneDrive access you had prior to deactivation - will need to be deleted and re-assigned by the sharing parties to avoid interruption to that access.

Email

Once you are enrolled as a DEP student, your original Kellogg email address is used as a forwarding address - any messages sent to your Kellogg address will be forwarded to your personal email address. You won't have to check a separate mailbox in order to see your emails.

For some students who begin DEP coursework immediately after graduation or within 2 quarters of your graduation, you may be able to access your original Kellogg email address and mailbox directly.

Canvas, Zoom, & Slack

You can access the DEP courses for which you are registered by logging into Canvas with your NetID and NetID password. As most courses are currently in either a virtual or hybrid format, you will also need to set up Zoom. You can find information on how to prepare for attending class via Zoom on our website.

If you wish to use Slack to collaborate with your study group and your Slack account is no longer active post-graduation, you can reach out to the Evening-Weekend Student Experience team to request 'single-channel' Slack access for your study group.
