Setting up Kprint on Mobile Devices
You can send print jobs to KPrint printers using your mobile device.
You will need to go through a one-time setup by following the steps below from your mobile device.
Releasing Print Jobs
Our printers have two ways to make releasing your jobs quick and easy. This section covers how to get set up for Wildcard tap-to-release, and touchless release using a QR Code.
Wildcard tap-to-release
To allow quicker log in, you can register your Wildcard's RFID chip so you can more easily tap to log into KPrint Printers. To do this one-time registration walk up to any KPrint printer and:
- Tap your Wildcard on the card reader on the right side of the printer
- First time users will be prompted to enter their NetID and password
- Enter your NetID and password
- Touch Assosciate Card. You are now registered.
- Tap your Wildcard to the reader again to Log Out
- Next time you'd like to log into a printer, just tap your Wildcard!
